How do I refer a friend?
When your friend books their holiday, they’ll need to mention that they've been referred by you so that we can make a note against your name in your system. Your friend needs to declare this when they make their initial enquiry for the discount to be applied.
How do I claim my discount after referring a friend?
Once your friend’s holiday has been confirmed, you can claim your discount on your next holiday. A discount will be added to your profile so just tell us that you have a discount voucher when you call to make your next booking, the discount will be ready to go!
Can I refer anyone to Plum Travel?
The friend you refer must not be a member of your household. They also can't have booked with Plum Travel before.
Is there a minimum spend to qualify for the discount?
A minimum booking value of £5,000 applies to both the booking made by you, and the booking made by your referred friend.
Can I refer multiple friends for multiple discounts?
Yes! You can refer as many friends as you like – the more, the merrier! Only one refer a friend discount can be applied per booking.
Is my friend able to use the discount if they’ve booked with Plum Travel before?
To claim the discounts, your friend must be new to Plum Travel and must not have booked with Plum Travel before.
Does my discount voucher expire?
Your discount needs to be used within 24 months of your friend’s booking confirmation.
I’ve already booked a holiday; can I claim my discount against that?
The discount is valid for new bookings only and cannot be applied against any trips you have already booked with Plum Travel before making the referral.
Can I use my discount towards my holiday deposit?
The discount can only be used against the cost of the holiday, the £100 discount cannot be used towards your holiday deposit.
Terms & Conditions
1. Your referred friend will receive a discount on their first qualifying booking with Plum Travel Ltd. You will receive a discount on your next qualifying booking made by you for travel with Plum Travel, after your friend has confirmed their first qualifying booking.
2. If your friend makes a booking of £5,000 or more, a £100 discount will apply to their booking. Referrers are limited to one discount per referred friend; additional/repeat purchases made by a friend are not counted as additional referrals.
3. Your friend must tell us that you have referred them at the time of booking with Plum Travel Ltd, to qualify for their discount. You must tell us that you have a qualifying discount voucher at the time of booking for it to be applied to your booking.
4. The discount is valid for new bookings only and cannot be applied against any trips you have already booked before making the referral. Once your friend has confirmed their booking, the discount on your next qualifying booking will be valid for 24 months. If the discount is not used within 24 months, it will expire. If your next qualifying booking is for £5,000 or more, a £100 discount will apply.
5. A new client to Plum Travel Ltd is defined as no previous bookings made by that individual or any traveller named on the booking with Plum Travel Ltd in the last 5 years.
6. Referrers must be an existing / previous customer of Plum Travel Ltd.
7. Minimum booking value of £5,000 applies to both the booking made by you and the friend referred. The booking must be for a package holiday including flights and accommodation.
8. The discount is applicable to qualifying Plum Travel Ltd bookings only. No cash alternative is available. The discount is personal to you and cannot be transferred to any third party. Not combinable with other offers. Only one refer-a-friend discount can be applied per booking. The friend referred must not be a member of your household. We reserve the right to withdraw this offer at any time. The Refer-a-Friend scheme commences on 1st June 2026 and is not applicable to any bookings confirmed prior to that date.
9. Plum Travel Ltd’s Refer-a-Friend scheme cannot be used by businesses or individuals for affiliate lead generation or posted on discount sites. Plum Travel Ltd reserves the right to cancel the Refer-a-Friend scheme and to revise these scheme terms from time to time. If the Refer-A-Friend scheme is terminated, any unclaimed referral discounts will be forfeited at that time.
10. Any personal data provided by you or the referred friend in connection with the Refer-a-Friend scheme will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws (including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018) and Plum Travel Ltd’s Privacy Policy. By providing a friend’s details, you confirm that you have obtained their permission to share their contact information with us for the purpose of this promotion. Personal data will be used solely to administer the scheme, fulfil discounts, and verify eligibility.
